It was a pitchers dual early as Erick Fedde took the mound for Game 2 of today’s doubleheader against Kansas City, striking out 5 Royals over 5.2 innings.

Dominic Fletcher would put the Sox on the board in the bottom of the 4th with a line drive single to right field, scoring Andrew Vaughn.

Gavin Sheets unleashed his third homer of the season in the bottom of the 6th inning, hitting the right field pole putting the Sox up by 2.

The Royals attempted a comeback in the top of the 7th on a Hunter Renfroe RBI groundout to score Nick Loftin, but it would end there.

Tanner Banks earned a hold in his relief of 1.1 innings and 1 strikeout. Deivi García got the 2 inning save.

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals, 2–1, at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois.
